Today we are please to introduce our new Official Illustrator, Alberto Quirantes. You will recognize his work as he is also the officially licensed illustrator for Star Wars, and is also graphic illustrator and album cover artist for Iron Maiden. Mr. Quirantes' first artwork for us depicts Canadian frontiersman John Dennison in his fatal encounter with a Black Bear in 1881. To our best knowledge it is the first and only painting of this landmark event in Canadian history. This painting is the first in what will become a series of artwork depicting prominent moments in our country's history. Planned future subjects include Charlotte Small, Wilfrid May, and Joseph Montferrand.
